Summary: Jack and Annie enjoy another Magic Tree House adventure in a rain forest in Africa. Annie finds a gorilla and names him Bu-Bu. They play together including swinging on vines!

Review: The ending of this book was my favorite part of it. It is scary but well worth the read. If you like adventures with emotional endings, this book is for you.

Summary: Jack and Annie have a Magic Tree House mission that they have to have a sword and they ride a sea serpent. They thought it was just a path! They even see Marlin and he tells them what the sword does.

Review: I think everybody would enjoy this book. My favorite parts are finding the sword and a sea serpent! This book has lots of surprises.

Summary: It was a pretty good Halloween book with two parts. The first part was a story about a trick or treating hunt to find a cat. The second part is how to make stuff and some good jokes!

Review: This book is recommended for everybody. I really liked the haunted house. I felt worried while reading the story, but the best part was the ending. I really felt about the jokes that they were really funny and some were really tricky.

Review:I loved this book, it shows the human spirit at its best! A heartwarming story for 4th and 5th graders.

Summary: This book was very thrilling and many unexpected things happened in it. In this book Gaea the earth goddess is trying to regain power over the world. Only Percy and his friends can stop Gaea from rising but Percy and Annabeth are trapped in tartarus and their friends are coming to save them instead of fighting Gaea.

Review: this book has many twists and turns in it. Also you really can't put this book down because its so good. Everybody who likes a page turner and likes action would love this book.

Summary: This book is about an Indian named Squanto. He sailed to England for 9 years. He was made into a slave. But, monks helped him get out of there. He went back to America and he helped the Pilgrams get food and survive the winter.

Review: Adults and children would like to read this book. I liked that this book was nonfiction. The best part was when Squanto helped the Pilgrims survive the winter and they had the first Thanksgiving.

Summary: Another Henry and Mudge Adventure. They find a way to stay busy over the weekend. They get very creative in the basement and even have helpers!

Review: If you like Henry and Mudge books this is one of the better ones. I thought they were going to have a boring weekend but instead they had a very fun one. The best part of the book is what they created in the basement. Other first graders would enjoy reading this book.

Summary: This book was about Nate the Great. He was looking for his friend's key. He looked in a bank since someone left a note on the door with clues on it. The clues were that the key was in a round, safe, shiny place. The key was not in the bank.

Review: I thought the best part was when he knew where the key was. It seems weird to me that Nate the Great thinks he is a detective. Other first graders would like to read this book.

I think the best part is when firestar falls in love with sandstorm.

Summary:
Nikki (a dork ) has problems with all types of things including swimming ice skating and anything to due with her school . Life gets worse when Mackenzie (enemy) takes her friend's phone and texts Nikki mean text messages. Figure out how she deals with all these problems in this great book!

Review:
I liked this book because of the sad parts and parts that showed feeling. This book is good for second - sixth graders . A great books for girls!

Summary:
Warriors is about this cat named Rusty that decides to leave his life as a kitty pet to go join this pack of wild cats called the thunder clan and there are 3 other clans wind clan river clan and shadow clan. Every clan owns an equal share of the forest. One clan is not allowed on another's hunting grounds. Its against the warrior code to cross the boarder in less a clan leader is traveling to the high stones to share dreams with stare clan. Stare clan is where all cats go after they die.

Review:
Personally think one of the best parts of all is when rusty becomes clan leader.

I greatly enjoyed this book. I think that the best part was how Sharon Draper(the author)wrote a story about kids with disabilities. I feel like she wrote the book to say"everyone's equal".

Summary:
Once again Earth is under attack by an alien species with much better weaponry. And there's only one person who could possibly defeat the Aliens. Ender Wiggin is a brilliant person and also a child. After Ender is recruited by the government he goes to a place called battle school where he is trained until the time for war comes. Find out in this exciting novel if all humans are going to be wiped out forever or if the aliens are.......

Review:
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes action and adventure. You just can't put this book down. at every chapter there are many twists and turns and there is always plenty of action.

Summary:
Frog and Toad were best friends. They had many fun adventures together. They climbed a mountain to see how brave they were. They saw snakes and hawks and a rockslide. In another story, Toad was dreaming. He thought he was an amazing actor and he kept doing all of this amazing stuff and his best friend Frog kept growing smaller and smaller.

I didn't like the book very much. It was boring. My dad enjoyed hearing me read this book.

Review:
I do not recommend this book to people that can not read a book that is extremely sad. This is probably the best book I have ever read. I hope you love this book just as much as I did.

Love that dog tells a story of boy who learns to enjoy poetry over the school year. After reading a poem, Jack gets an assignment to write his own. Jack does not understand the concept of metaphor, so he does not understand poems that his teacher reads him. He starts making up poems on accident, and soon, he becomes a great poet.

Review:
This book is hard to put down! An interesting part of the book is that the story is told with Jacks letters to the teachers. In some parts, it is very funny, but there also very sad parts. If you like dogs, you are sure to love this book! It is not a picture book, but it is very short. The story is well written and interesting. This is one of my favorite books!

Summary:
Matt and his grandpa are determined to do what ever they can to prevent Aman and his mother from getting deported back to Afghanistan. Aman has suffered through a lot including losing one of his great friend Shadow. Shadow was a dog that led Aman and his mother through lots of countries all the way into England.Then six years later the police in England caught them and they were sent to a deportation center in England.


Review:
This book was sad and exciting at the same time. It really catches your emotion. I would recommend this book to people who like adventure. And there some chapters that I had to finish no matter what, it is a very thrilling story.

The plane then crashes and Brian finds himself stuck in the Canadian wilderness on his own and has to figure out how to survive.

This book is a stunning page turner and I recommend anyone who likes mystery and adventure to read this book.

Review: This was one of the best books I have read! I really enjoyed reading about Peter's thrilling adventures. This book always keeps the reader in suspense.

Summary: August pullman, his friends call him Auggie, was born with a facial deformenty. He had not been to school for his whole life do to to many sergeries and getting sick from his medication. He and his parents have now decided that he should start school. he is going into 5th grade, but you'll need to read the book to find out what happens next!

Review: I think you will adore this book if you read it! it has so many details, and I found it very intresting how they tell the tails and challenges he faces and how he manages to make friends on the way.

Review: I think this book anyone can understand , if you are in kindergarten you might want your parents to read this to you. This is a third to fifth reading level . If you like a book that has lots of sad and mystery to it this is the book for you !

Summary: August Pullman was born with severe facial deformities. He has been homeschooled by his mother due to numerous surgeries and health issues, but now he is entering school for the first time as a 5th grader. Wonder takes us through Auggie’s first year at Beecher Prep and gives the reader an inside look at his celebrations and struggles.

Review: This book is told from various points of view. You get to hear from Auggie, his sister and several of his friends. I liked the different perspectives given by each of the characters. The story has a beautiful message and I think that all who read it will look at others in a new light. I feel this book would be an excellent choice for 4th-adult readers.
