Pigs on a Ball

Pigs on a Ball
Amy Axelrod

5 Stars - It's hard to imagine a better book!

Summary: A pig family went to a miniature golf course. They surprised the dad for his birthday. They learned about shapes. Each miniature golf area was a shape. The dad wasn't very good at miniature golf.

Review: I liked that the pigs were a family. The best part is that the dad learned how to play miniature golf. I liked that you could learn shapes while reading a story.

The One and Only Ivan

The One and Only Ivan
by Kathrine Applegate
5 Stars - It's hard to imagine a better book!

Summary: The book is about a gorilla named Ivan that made a promise to his friend elephant that he would take care of her niece . He likes to draw and likes to listen to little Ruby's ( baby elephant ) jokes . He has difficulties with making his promise real .

Review: I think this book anyone can understand , if you are in kindergarten you might want your parents to read this to you. This is a third to fifth reading level . If you like a book that has lots of sad and mystery to it this is the book for you !
