I do not recommend this book to people that can not read a book that is extremely sad. This is probably the best book I have ever read. I hope you love this book just as much as I did.

Love That Dog
Love That Dog
by Sharon Creech
4 Stars - This book is better than most.
Review:
Love that dog tells a story of boy who learns to enjoy poetry over the school year. After reading a poem, Jack gets an assignment to write his own. Jack does not understand the concept of metaphor, so he does not understand poems that his teacher reads him. He starts making up poems on accident, and soon, he becomes a great poet.
Review:
This book is hard to put down! An interesting part of the book is that the story is told with Jacks letters to the teachers. In some parts, it is very funny, but there also very sad parts. If you like dogs, you are sure to love this book! It is not a picture book, but it is very short. The story is well written and interesting. This is one of my favorite books!
